So what makes for a good neighborhood Tavern?
The Mayfair Tavern first opened its doors back in the 1950’s. Back then the ‘Taverns’ were an escape for menfolk that provided a convenient getaway from the humdrum of daily life.
Today’s taverns are VERY different.
So what exactly has changed? At the Mayfair Tavern we have given this much thought and have come up with a checklist of what we think is vital in a good neighborhood tavern.

Fair and reasonable prices on drinks and food encourage patrons to frequent the tavern regularly. The Mayfair isn’t your typically a high-end establishment, so affordability is key.
Good Selection of Drinks
We carry a wide selections of beers, both local and imported. Recently we have expanded our beverages offering to include a variety of popular Cocktails. Generally the Mayfair has a good selection of beers, wines, and spirits to cater to various tastes.

Entertainment Options
The Mayfair Tavern offers a wide choice of entertainment. Our ‘House Band’ is arguably on of the tightest groups on the West Island and has an evolving playlist that caters to all ages – classic rock is a favorite. Our calendar typically features a variety of new musical groups. Additionally we host karaoke nights, pub quizzes, and game nights. You can shoot some pool or if you prefer the multiple big screens TVs are great for sports fans. For those who like to gamble, we feature a choice of the most popular video lottery terminal (VLTs)
Community Engagement
